Didn't EW have about 7 or 8 fouls? A few over-the-backs not called. A few might have gone either way. What's the deal with that?

It seems that a lot of post players get away with murder, UNLESS you have UCONN on your uni!:(

all joking aside, i got a chance to watch the 2nd half tonite. with about 4 minutes left Duke started fouling, and before that they only had 2 or 3 team fouls and the announcers said "the 2nd half has been so choppy with so many fouls called", but they were all called on UCONN. and yeah, some of the fouls called on Kiah were no different than the no calls on Williams. certainly kept the game closer, but i will say UCONN played the last 6 minutes pretty sloppy...

I really don't think there were a whole lot of fouls called on either team in the second half or the game - total fouls if you discount the 4 intentional fouls in that one stretch were 12 on Uconn and 13 on Duke - and I think they actually fouled sort of intentional 5 times so it was even at 12 / 12.
I think the refs really let them play for the most part - and I don't think they called a number of fouls on both teams in rebounding battles that could have been called. Most of the fouls they did call were clearly fouls as well.
For the general nature of WCBB refs, I thought a total of 24 non-intentional fouls made for a great game and the two players that got hit with the most - Stef and Williams sort of cancelled each other out.

Yes, it was funny that Duke had so many fouls to give that they lost count of their own personal foul totals and fouled themselves out trying to put UCONN on the line! IIAC (If I am correct)

And having finally committed enough fouls to get us into the bonus they allowed us to run 20 seconds off the clock before putting us on the line!!! - Total cluster duck in terms of coaching during those last minutes. Not sure if they had used up all their time-outs so the coach couldn't get the plan outlined, but it was one of the craziest periods of any game I can remember.
