Not the best press from Yahoo...

It's likely specific to you.

I never use Yahoo - just went there and the UConn article is nowhere to be seen.

On the other hand, more people will know we almost beat Missouri.

For whatever reason the right guard blocked to his right letting the Mizzou player in the A gap to go in virtually untouched and rush Boyles throw. He would have blocked any kick. What is up with our kick team inside blocking? It is very consistent in a bad way.

"Saturday's 9-6 win by Missouri over UConn was the fewest points the Tigers scored in a win since beating Joe Montana and 5th-ranked Notre Dame 3-0 in 1978."

Not bad. It's amusing that the kicking unit is the weakest part of our team right now. The article is accessible from yahoo.com here, too.

Dr. Saturday? What a tool. Just another SEC apologist lackey. I'm sure every sports writer aspires to write a sports blog for Yahoo. He would be thrilled that your post directed a couple people to read his drivel. Oh well. He was correct in that our offense (O-line, anyway) appeared porous.

wish boyle would have flipped it to the receiver/h back to his right on the flat. 2 blockers and one defender. Oh well. On to Navy.

Tough loss no doubt but UConn just needs to forget about it and move onto Navy and their option football.

Kicking game needs a lot of work this week

Hmmm... is it too early to lay odds on Corley heading back to William & Mary after this season? Even though a couple of the receivers look pretty darn good the special teams unit is as much a detriment to the team as the O-line has been.
