No Bird, no Stewie for today's national broadcast.

Seattle Storm President & GM Alisha Valavanis released the following statement today regarding point guard Sue Bird (left knee) and forward Breanna Stewart (right knee).

“Sue and Breanna have not been cleared to play for today’s game in Los Angeles and continue to be listed as day-to-day. They will be evaluated again in advance of tomorrow’s home opener against Indiana.”

Sue Bird (left knee) and Breanna Stewart (right knee) are both listed as day-to-day.

Them, Mo and Plum ... bummer. Head bang
No Plum, Mo, or KMac. But Tina, Kiah, and Bria are playing--and starting. Tina is a scoring machine and has 8 early points. Big Shot Bria is looking very trim.

I hope Kaleena gets PT and takes advantage.

Sorry, Bria got lots of PT but not the start.

Seattle without Sue, and Stewie is a bad team, Alysha Clark needs to be coming off the bench, she shouldn't be a starter on any WNBA team.

KML looked a bit more fit, but really didn't do much. She was benched before long. Watching Morgan Tuck stroke threes so effortlessly in her game reminded me of the old KML. Don't know why KML can't do it. I don't think it's fitness. Somebody got in her head.

Plum. Kayla and Mo-Jeff were out of the game but SA was still in the game until the end.

Not really a great sign for the Liberty (they're really packed to the gills with talent).

I was disappointed that they didn't get to play today but it's a tough sport.
