For all their struggles, this team does fight. Down 8 points to Cinci and fought back to tie the game in the final 3 minutes...down 10 points today and fought back to within 2 points over the last 3 minutes.

Here's what I'd like - I would like JC to take whatever speech he's given at halftime over the past two seasons and I would like him to burn it.

It seems that they seem to come out after the half on their faces - the furious comebacks are impressive, but they tend to fall short and it'd be easier on my heart if we never needed them in the first place.

They lose close games with a couple guys who aren't physically at 100%, a backup sitting out, and are in positions to steal wins, all while playing some pretty ugly looking basketball. I'm with you, no reason to give up.

Count me in. They're close and I still think they can put it together and be a good if not great team. There are probably some more loses along the way, but I'm sure there will be some good wins down the road too.

This team does a lot of things, but fight is most certainly not one of them. Calhoun & Napier said as much.

Certainly a lot of looking on today. How could no one be crashing the glass with seconds left?

I'm not giving up on the Huskies. They have a ton of raw talent and one of the best coaches around. Even if it takes 10 mores games to start playing up to their potential and they end up in the NIT and then display the most impressive run to the NIT championship ever, I will keep cheering

The fight in the this teams comes from role players like Giffey and Olander and not from our main players which is concerning. The team doesnt show any fight or emotion and are just out there going with the flow. In yesterdays game UConn couldn't rebound missed free throws from Tennessee often getting overpower and outworked on defensive rebounds from missed free throws which happened 3 or 4 times in the second half. That shows no concentration, effort, fight etc from the guys. Every loose ball or 50/50 ball also went to Tennessee as well. The reason we lose games by a small margin is because we have better talent than the teams we are losing to, but in actuality we got thoroughly beat and outplayed.
