Moved back to the Hudson Valley in NY after 3 years in Minneapolis.
Kept my UConn season tickkets while my wife and I were gone and have been a life long Vikings fan as well.
So my 2 favorite teams scored a combined 6 points over the weekend and have eerily similar issues..
* lack of any semblence of an offensive line. Bridgewater was sacked 8 times on Sunday and running for his life most of the afternoon and threw 3 interceptions. The Detroit d-line absolutely dominated them.
The Tulane game (and the USF game before that) was virtually unwatchable. Although the 2 fumbles were just killers and stopped somewhat productive drives.
*new coaches trying to establish a team identity and each having a very difficult time doing that. Really not sure what road HCBD is taking while Zimmer is dealing with the loss of the face of the franchise in Peterson and has several other key players injured.
Has been and will be a long year....
