Some P5 schools with gaudy records had a reality check today...

NC St (9-3) lost to Villanova (4-7), 74-65
Auburn (9-3) lost to Hampton (4-8), 44-42
Missouri (10-2) lost to Missouri St (2-8), 57-52

Nothing to say but "Ouch!" SEC teams Missouri and Auburn were 19 and 10 point favorites at home. But I guess they'll still make the Tourney because of a moderately good win or two over a fellow conference team.

Hampton hosts unbeaten Princeton on Monday. Perhaps they knock the Tigers off?

And not a huge upset against a non-gaudy P5 team Colorado, but 13-1 Long Beach State was still an underdog playing on the road but just won 62-56. They've already taken out Cal and LSU, with their one loss coming against USC in OT.

I don't know about Missouri, but the Auburn/Hampton game was at a neutral site in Miami. The Gamecocks' SEC opener is at home on Friday night against Auburn. I'll be sure to make the Tigers feel welcome.
