No doubt Tiffany's opportunity came when Caroline got hurt. It is all a matter of specualtion, but Tiffany was struggling with her perimeter shooting up until her breakout performance against Louisville, after which she permanently replaced Lorin in the starting lineup. Had Ms Hayes not been forced to step up, who knows how long it would have taken for her to perform at the level we had come to know and expect. As much as we love to reminisce about her three consecutive seond half threes against Lousivelle, my favorite Tiffany sequence that season was the two consecutive thress she put up against Stanford in the national semifinal. She was already heading back downcourt after releasing the second one. That kind of confidence is admirable.

Yes I totally agree, she stepped up to the plate and made a name for herself. I can't wait until she starts shooting like that in the WNBA
