Pulling for Ohio State in this one even though Maryland holds the tie breaker over Northwestern because they beat Iowa (1-1) and Northwestern (0-1) did not.
 
Go Northwestern. As I have said several times, I like "Jumping Joe" as we used to call him. When he was coaching at GW, when he got going he would leap up on his chair to rip his jacket off. At least several times saw this, earned him the nickname from a group of Rutgers fans (RU played GW regularly before joining the BE, and a few times thereafter. Unfortunately Joe had RU's number).

Good for Greenwich, Connecticut native Abby Wolf, who recorded another workmanlike performance with 8 points and 5 rebounds. She may not be flashy, but she's anchored the middle for a team that is rising inexorably toward the top.

Happy to see NW doing well this season. Makes up for the 2016 season where I thought with Coffey, Lyon, Deary, and Inman they had a chance to go far but quickly faded once conference played started.
