One way to win games....don't turn the ball over. UConn is #1 in the country for fewest offensive turnovers.

Not updated through yesterday but with zero turnovers against bcu, they'll stay #1.

Odd rankings seeing as Cuse and Delaware, sadly, beat UConn.

Cuse doesn't have the QB they had against us for the rest of the season. He's so bad that one of the Cuse WR's Uncles called in on one of their post game podcasts to say they were looking at having the nephew transfer. He's gonna cost "us" the league.
We can't all have Joe Fagnano waiting on the bench.

They are the Jets in the MAC...

I wish UMass would be serious about football...I think URI is more serious about football than UMass. Heard they are thinking of going FBS...At least some expert said they are looking at it...

We get on coaches sometimes for all kinds of reasons especially offensive coordinators, but you gotta give whoever’s calling the play some credit along with the players. In addition to not fumbling the ball, they’re not falling for whatever defenses are throwing at us to force turnovers. And of course, Joe nice job.

Sammis is developing right before our eyes. Will be interesting to see what kind of wrinkles he adds as the rest of the season unfolds. Clearly Bell is WR#1, but the way Joey meatballs has spread it around the rest of the receiving corps makes Bell that more dangerous. Also think he (Bell) is going to break one of those WR screens for a big one soon. Still think our best Offensive performance is ahead. The OL is kicking butt and taking names. Not quite Foleyesque, but the passing game is so much better than what Foley usually had to work with, run heavy not necessary or desired.
