The NDSU coach should have 'escorted' his classless player to a seat and tell him he better not leave it until he can't see a fan left in the arena. I know guys who would haved done exactly that.

I've mentioned it before. I remember watching my cousin's team getting whooped and a kid put up a 3 pointer as time expired. Their coach came out like a bull out of the stall. He screamed at the player to sit down and told him he had no chance at playing in their next game. Later, I found out , the kid sat their until the team bus was ready to roll. Even better, he was the coach's son.

No doubt.

I take my pleasures west of Syracuse in the Finger Lakes, and can reliably say so too is NY.
I too often think about where I'd like to live when I retire. My latest thought is Lake Champlain. Either NY or Vermont. So maybe someday I'll be back on the east coast.

I wish I saw the last 2-3 minutes of the game, would really frame how I feel about this.

In a snapshot, the steal & dunk are petty & ridiculous. But I also believe if the losing team is doing things to close the gap up to the whistle (pressing, getting quick shots up, etc) the winning team has the same right to play equally as hard

Don't consider just one place when you retire. Make a list and try them all. Start with cold weather places when you are younger and move south as you get older. We started on the outer Cape and when it got too cold and desolate in winter and too crowded with tourists in summer we moved to Florida, where we've now moved three times. My wife and I made a pact that if one of us wasn't happy where we were living we needed to tell the other. Turns out often neither of us were happy and wanted to move but didn't want to tell the other. Some other places we are considering include a lake house in Maine, Santa Fe, and a city with New York, Boston and Paris on the list. Covid has definitely had an impact, but we are 70 and want to experience different lifestyles before we are in our 80s. Thats my 2 cents. Oh one constant is always access to UConn bball
