Final: NC State comes from behind to beat Duke, 63-60. Grace Hunter came up big for NC State, who improve to 21-1, 10-1 ACC. Duke falls to 11-10, 5-5 ACC.
Elissa Cunane led all scorers with a monster game, 27 ooints on 8 of 9 from the field and 12 of 14 from FT line, while also grabbing 7 rebounds for NC State, which finished the game 44.7 %, and was 8 of 19 from THREE. Jakia Brown-Turner added 12 points, and Grace Hunter's three THREEs and 9 points was good enough for 3rd place today.
Duke was led by Haley Gorecki's 21 points, on 8 of 18 from the field. Leonna Odom and Kyra Lambert each had 13 for Duke, which finished the game shooting 38.1% from the field and was 6 of 21 from THREE.
NC State led the rebounding battle, 35-30. Kayla Jones had 12 boards for the Wolfpack Women.
NC State finished the game with 19 turnovers, but turned the ball over only 4 times in the second half. Duke turned the ball over 14 times.
