Non-UConn Saturday Games...

Teams succeeding in the Northeast is good for us. Would prove we can do it too.

Temple sure has stepped it up.

FWIW, I don't think P5 and NCAA will split. Maybe continue to evolve in how they function, sure. Chicago is still part of the Big Ten and plays D3 in a conference of nationally renown schools, such as NYU. That school has more say than Alabama or Texas.

D3 schools should still be allowed to sponsor a D1 sport.

UCF, Cincy & Temple are all playing tremendous football - the AAC west division upper-half looks a lot weaker this year.

I was just looking...

BC with less than 100 yards of total offense with 8 mins to go.

Ego had to be dented after this.

Clemson has an NFL caliber D though.
Gotta do better than that to impress NFL scouts.

When was the last time the #2 and #4 teams played road games around here?

Cinci @ UCF could snag College Gameday visit and possibly ABC primetime

Chris Fowler tweeted back at UCF that they won’t be disappointed this week. It was a cryptic post, but sounds like CGD will skip the Bronx and head to Cincy-UCF.

Fowler doesn’t do CGD but he does do the prime time game. I’m sure that’s what he is referring to.

On this historic weekend where Coast Guard wins the Secretaries' Cup, Trinity wins the NESCAC title again, the #2 and #4 top tier teams in the country are nearby, which probably hasn't happened for a very long time, Rutgers had approximately 10,000 unsold seats. BC and the Merchant Marine Academy sold out.

Kings Point is a nice place. Very nice baseball field, too. Better than Brooks Stadium.
