It's certainly not a bad schedule, just a surprising schedule. You have the most experienced and talented team in the country and you add Harvard, Toledo, Binghamton and Lehigh to the schedule. Maybe no other teams would say yes.

Found out a bit more about why Harvard is probably on the docket in South Bend, courtesy of season ticket holder and McGraw's Bench valued contributor, MPG.

The Crimson's senior guard and co-captain Madeline Raster is a graduate of St. Joseph HS in South Bend. St. Joe's is a couple of full-court passes away from ND's campus. This a homecoming weekend of sorts for her with games vs. ND and then Purdue.

It's also not too far for junior forward Jeannie Boehm to drive down from New Trier HS and Winnetka, Illinois. Remember she was a McDonald's All-American in 2016.

Purdue should be a top-20 team. They will be no pushover in the islands.

And the just lost to St. Johns, which is an NIT middle of the Big East Team at best.
