Non-Big East Conference Tournament Discussion

He works for ESPN, no? Does the ACC bias shock you?

Palm is in on this vast conspiracy as well...

Has as in....Virginia, Louisville, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Florida State, North Carolina, Syracuse...and Clemson...

You shocked by this CBS puppet?

Oh don’t get upset now sweetie, nobody is talking about a conspiracy

But no, nothing shocks me with seeding in the tournament anymore.

Well sweets....I'm not upset..it appears that you were upset about Lunardi...I just mentioned that you failed to mention Palm...and..if you aren't talking conspiracy..what is the yapping about Lunardi..ESPN...ACC all about?

Backtrack all you will...it was a whine about Lunardi..ESPN bias...so I just reminded you to whine about Palm.

Is Wichita in if they lose this game? And Cinci would obviously be a live bid thief- especially if Memphis beats Houston

Have Arkansas at +300 to win their tournament and they just took a 14-1 run to the face, oof.

Still only down 3 at half though.

lotta good action on currently in addition to the Ark/LSU game:

Wichita leads Cincinnati by 4 with 8:30 left
Illinois up 8 on Iowa at half
Iona up 6 on Fairfield in the first half

Rique JUST misses at the buzzer at Cinci takes down Wichita:

And if Houston wins out, it's looking like a 1 bid league (pending Covid subs).

I think WSU is safely in. The Bubble teams should be concerned that that if MEM/Cincy win they will get AAC will get three bids and steal from someone else. I hope Georgetown wins tonight just so the BE also steals a bid

I think WSU is still pretty safely in at this stage
Their computer metrics are so bad. Their record has so much chaff.

How much can 1 win at home over a good team be worth?

They basically beat a bunch of really mediocre teams by low margins at home. But they did win most of the games.

Feel bad for AG....played a good game but missed the winning 3 at the buzzer. I think WSU sneaks in unless Cincy steals a bid tomorrow. I can see the committee with a contingency plan like that since game is tomorrow....AAC gets 2 bids and either Cincy gets it with win obviously or WSU gets it with Houston win.

I don’t disagree with you but look at who they’re up against to get in. Drake? Utah St? Colorado St? Boise St? Seton Hall? The beat Ole Miss in Oxford head to head and won the AAC regular season. I would absolutely love to play them in a 7/10 as I think we’d thrash them but I think they’re in the field

That Madsen kid for Cincy may be the new Gerry McNamara. I think he's going to have a great career. He's got a textbook shot. 3 true frosh had 28 of their points. I give that coach credit as he had a lot of roster issues and still finished 9 and 3 with a one game playoff to earn a spot. I'd still like to play Cincy. Fwiw i think that's the best i've seen Gilbert shoot the ball.

I missed this, but Pitino's Iona made the tournament.
I had to look up Asante Gist as I thought for sure he'd be a transfer from a P5. He transferred from EKU. Why do I know that name?
