You are correct. Last year's roster has him listed as '0', and this year's roster as '1'. I imagine last year's roster is on the UConn website somewhere. I have a Word copy.

Perhaps he wanted jersey #1 to begin with but Enosch Wolf had it when Nolan was a freshman. Nobody knew if Wolf was coming back for his senior season or not for a while, so it was probably locked up for that year too. It might just be a case of the number finally being available so PN took it.
