Sorry for the bump, but figured I’d ask here. I know it’s a big if for Traore to go to College in the US for a year vs other overseas pro options, but would we be out regardless with Mahaney aboard?

No idea if there was ever mutual interest with UConn, but it sounds like he'll be going the 1st round upset as a Razorback route if he goes to college at all

Probably got a nice pay day without the extra school stuff to deal with. Also might have been a downgrade in playing level coming to the NCAA from Europe first division

Nothing to do with it. They play different positions. And there were several other notable players (mark sears) who announced they were coming back on the same day. Alabama was mentioned much more as a possible destination than UConn for this kid. Needles to say. We’re loaded either way! Can’t wait for this season!
