welcome to uconn country noel! everyone show him some love!
great start to the 2013, in state home grown 3* wr.
thats what i'm talking about PP!!!!

Awesome news. Hope he won't be the only one from the Junior Day festivities. Not too familiar with the 2013 guys yet, but love what I have been hearing from all of you guys. Great athlete to keep in state.

Excellent news for our football program! We've managed to reach into Fairfield County! That's HUGE!

Welcome aboard Noel. Excited about this commit. Ranked #2 in the state I believe.
he is a top 5 guy. 247 has him at #3 right now behind boyle/isaacs, thats about right. cory jass might get a 3/4* also. ct is real nice for 2013 and this is a great start at keeping those guys home.

i'm seeing some more good chat from guys on twitter also, hopefully we get some more good news soon!

And another commit! Ebenezer Ogundeko from Brooklyn per John at UConnReport. EO had offers from BC, Syracuse and Arizona State.

Wow....reaching into NYC, too!! PP is taking us further than Edsall!

Welcome to the family, Noel!

Really nice to see the early work being done close to home. Welcome aboard!

From my recollection, the only commit uConn ever had that was earlier than the 2 yesterday was Trevardo Williams in 2007 or 2008.

Welcome to the UConn family Noel! Have we ever gotten a commit, or two, at a Junior Day? Awesome!

I didn't even know UConn held junior days until a couple of weeks ago. Needless to say, this is a big step forward for the program. Pretty cool to get a commit this early in the process. I don't believe it has happened yet.

Aaron Hernandez committed well before junior day too, I believe.

Um....uh...um.....nevermind.

Meaning there wasn't as much fan fare about a UConn junior day. I have always followed recruiting during the off-season and in-season, but have never heard a lot about their junior day events. The fact that it is drawing more interest and higher profile guys are attending and even gotten a few commits is definitely big for the program.
