Of course the women's team is our priority but...according to a poll by Nan a while back....most fans here
are also fans of the UConn men's team. Some of us go waaay back. I remember Dom Perno
stealing the ball from Senator-to-be Bill Bradley of Princeton fame.
The men were top 25 in season previews...2nd to Villanova in the BE. Two blow-out wins...fast paced/
good shooting/entertaining...granted against cupcakes. You might want to check them out.
Wednesday at 6:30 against LIU on FS2. Saturday at Noon against Binghampton onFS1.
The timing of the Saturday game is a problem...directly conflicts with our game against Minnesota.
The top half of the BE guy-side has some real potential...'Nova/UConn/St. John's/Seton Hall [with a huge road win
at #4 Michigan last night. How about a nice run in The Dance for our men...say sweet 16?
BTW: If Geno can find a gal-side version of center Adama Sanogo in 2023 or beyond...or thru the portal...let's get her!
Provide in our games what Sanogo [only a soph] does for the men and we will be several steps closer to #12 and beyond.
