And a lot of people think that HS girls shouldn't go to UConn to play for a man. It's wrong in both cases.

That's not to say that Ollie's understanding of the transition to college that a young, inner city black man has to undertake doesn't add some value. It certainly does. But a white guy from Boston helped him do it.

FrankIvy's bizarre post to the contrary, Jalen Rose didn't think that kids going to Duke were uncle toms because they were playing for a white coach. Jalen Rose played for a white coach. I'm not sure what Ollie or Rose saying he would play for him have to do with what he said about Duke.

Can't believe no one has mentioned this. Last night during the second half of the McDonald's game they were discussing Ben Simmons and how going to LSU hurt him. They mentioned lack of talent, coaching, etc and most of the kids in the McDonalds game said they rather be surrounded by talent and go to a power team like Kentucky than go to a situation like Simmons at LSU . So one of the commentators asked the question to Jalen and Jason Williams if you were in high school today what school/coach would want to play for now. Jalen said UConn and Ollie.

OOOPS. NCAA will find us guilty of something involving JR talking up KO.
