They didn't take any under .500 teams for what it's worth

Despite you telling me UConn was an NIT lock two weeks ago, the fact is we were never remotely close to being in the NIT's consideration at any real point in the season.

I don't recall seeing a a sub .500 team in the NIT but there have been a couple who've gone to the NCAA tournament only because they happened to win their conference tournament thus receiving an automatic bid.
