Winthrop actually has a pretty impressive resume for this season. Could be the next upset for the Blue Devils! They better not over look them I thought I saw that they only lost to Texas A&M by 8 points.

Winthrop does have 24 wins, and the last time UConn played a first round game against a team of that stature (1995) they won by only 30. So who knows if Duke has anything to worry about. But both Sagarin and Massey have Duke's SOS rated #1, while Winthrop's is 311 and 257 respectively, so the Devils should have at least had more learning experiences with their slightly tougher schedule.

I saw Winthrop play in person this season and they don't have a bad team, at all. Duke will definitely have to show up to beat them.

Actually, the picture was taken last year, her senior season of high school. She is a dual sport athlete, 3 time high school champion shot putter (Illinois) .
