No ESPN3 for First Night this year

Also, from that link above, looks like ESPN3 will be streaming two midnight madness events tomorrow night: Harvard and Mercer.

Did UConn just opt out of that this year? I'm confused.

It's strange because as of a week or so ago UConn's first night was listed on the upcoming events in ESPN3.

The athletic department has really upped it's game so I doubt this is a UConn fail. More than likely ESPN has decided to change the first night approach and is locking out the streaming. We'll have to wait until 10/23 to see snippets of the UConn first night is my guess.

FWIW, UConn's first three games are now listed on ESPN3's upcoming schedule and they weren't a week ago.
