In years past there was always a little uncertainty UCONN would win the NC. There was even a little bit of nervousness gong into the semi. However, for this NC the only doubt seems to be by how much UCONN will win by?

Oddly, I am not that nervous. I was nervous facing Texas. The Cuse is good, but I believe that we are a better team. Go UCONN!!

I cannot believe you are tossing this in the face of mojo.

How's this for a counter-argument:

Syracuse is the biggest Cinderella to come down the pike in years. They have a team with one known commodity and a bunch of relative unknowns. Their coach can invoke the "us vs. them" mantra and make it stick, because they are unbelievable underdogs. UConn has lost an integral part of the formula trhat has brought them success for years -- the three-point shooting guard. Geno will say what he can, but you have to believe the Huskies believe they're gonna win, no matter what.

No, I am not predicting an upset, but this could be a lot closer game that folks might think.

And anyone who thinks UConn has the game sewed up is tempting mojo, and that us never good.

Don't worry tomcat, no one here or on any other forum has the power to affect the outcome of the game one iota. All the power is solely in the hands of the players and coaches.

What ?!?!?!?!?!?!

BAGS: don't let good ole BESTIARIUS kid ya. He's one of the great all time posters and loves to pull a chain or two. He knows how influential we are collectively.

whew! Thanks so much winlots. For a second or two, I was doubting my entire reason for living.

Syracuse has beaten TN and USC on their way to this game. Let's wait to celebrate until after the game please!
I agree! Syracuse is a damn good team that speeds you up with their press and tries to make you play at their pace. Offensively they are a very talented team with a few very good 3 pt shooters. If they are hot early from the outside and UConn gets off to a slow start this game could get real interesting real quick.

Mojo is rubbish, period.

Remember, they are a team that LOST to Carolina - who had a sub .500 season.....

They are a completely different team now. They are 16-1 in their last 17 games with wins over #16, #9, #6, and #2 in that stretch and their only blemish was an 11 point loss to Notre Dame in which they shot an abysmal 17.4% from 3 pt range. If they shot their normal % they could have won that game.

Yeah, well, we have Diana and they don't, so there

Another way to look at is they didn't beat Notre Dame in that game and got crushed by them in the regular season and UConn has beaten Notre Dame 4 straight and is 115-1 in their last 116 games. So, I'd rather be us.
