I'm not surprised. The "team as a whole" did not perform beyond preseason expectations.

Why we did have some improvements in individual areas, how many on UConn's roster were offered by other AAC schools.......forget being offered by P5.

Athlon Sports had 6 UConn players on the AAC pre-season 1st, 2nd, or 3rd teams, so somebody thought UConn had some talent: Newsome, Fatukasi, Carrezola, Diggs, Joseph, and Summers. The defense performed so poorly this season with a new scheme that nobody was going to make the all AAC defense.
