OT: No. 1 ranked UConn field hockey

The number 1 ranked and undefeated UConn field hockey team (20-0) recently won its sixth consecutive Big East (yes, Big East) title. In the first round of the NCAA tournament, UConn beat #20 Boston University, setting up an Elite 8 game against #6 Penn State today at 2:00 in Storrs.

For those who may not know - UConn is very much a powerhouse in field hockey, appearing in 14 Final Fours and winning the championship four times, including back to back wins in 2013 and 2014. Head Coach Nancy Stevens is the winningest coach in the sport.

Congrats to the field hockey team! Another even lesser known team to win NC's is the UCONN women's polo team (horses, not water). They have won 7 NC's. The men's polo team has won 3 NC's.
