Bringing you along slowly. When the game is over you get the hell out of there. Hell has nothing on the 1:30 local to New Haven.
Haha I'd get off in Fairfield - but I've been dumped off on the late train to New Haven at 2:30am. Never again.

We'll be playing with an experimental 30-second shot clock in this tournament. Imagine if we had 5 less seconds today..
That's not a small thing. We'll be seeing this team play with a little more zip, which is probably how they should've played all season.

Yeah I usually park in Fairfield. Doesn't matter the stop you don't want the 1:30 train.

The NIT Championship game vs West Virginia in 1989 was a big deal.

The Old Dominion "quadrant" is a joke. Tulsa should walk through that. Not much consolation for their snub, but...

Look at it this way. Boat gets to play in Gampel again. I'm stoked to have the opportunity to watch this kid maybe a couple more times.

In all likelihood the ASU game will be our last at home.* If we advance we're most likely going to Richmond (1) and Miami (2). Not an easy road.

*Until we reach Storrs-South aka MSG

When will we get ticket info. Seriously considering buying tickets if we play at Gampel.

I would not be surprised if the NIT becomes the tournament for the non-P5/Big East at some point. Until tonight I did not think that a split was coming, but after what happened with the Selection Committee, there is no doubt. The only question is what happens to the Big East. Everyone else's fate is sealed.

I've never put those two things together, but you might be onto something.

However, if the P5 can get a revenue split for its 60 teams, why dilute the pot with the Big East?

Jesus! Tulsa can't catch a break. If I'm not mistaken, their first game of the NIT can only be seen on the internet...

Yale did not make the NIT LMAO

That's a tough deal. You lose two buzzer-beater games where either one would have secured your trip to the NCAA tourney, and then you aren't even invited into the NIT. Yikes...

We know what that feels like. Only difference was getting the NIT invite. UCONN>Yale. Yay!

What the selection committee showed us today was that we needed more than one game to have flipped the outcome. We likely needed at least 2 more wins, and maybe even a third. Of course, that could have come from any of our tough last-minute losses, like Texas, Yale, Temple (OT), Houston, etc...
