dont care about NIT, honestly
Exactly my brother!!!! I love watching Uconn basketball and If we are playing in it I'm sure KO and Boat will definitely want to win it. Their competitors. It's a hell if a lot better than being banned. Hopefully Boats injury allows him to play.
Do schools even hang NIT Banners?
This is true, and would probably change my outlook. You've clearly never had too much to drink at the Garden.

I'll buy the drinks after then.If they get to the Garden your drinks are on me - you'll be converted.

I already said, then I got drinks after or before. Your choice.I'm in. whaler and I will split the tab.
Players play. That's the point.I really don't see the point in playing in the NIT.
Not this school. I'm ok with the 1988 banner because it started our path to greatness. But never again. It's a Providence-type move.

Gampel orXL?
Haha I'd get off in Fairfield - but I've been dumped off on the late train to New Haven at 2:30am. Never again.Bringing you along slowly. When the game is over you get the hell out of there. Hell has nothing on the 1:30 local to New Haven.
That's not a small thing. We'll be seeing this team play with a little more zip, which is probably how they should've played all season. We'll be playing with an experimental 30-second shot clock in this tournament. Imagine if we had 5 less seconds today..

That was before we knew what kind of a drug the NCAA Tournament was.The NIT Championship game vs West Virginia in 1989 was a big deal.
