Exactly my brother!!!! I love watching Uconn basketball and If we are playing in it I'm sure KO and Boat will definitely want to win it. Their competitors. It's a hell if a lot better than being banned. Hopefully Boats injury allows him to play.

And even if Boat can't go, the guys can get a jump on next year and start to learn to play without him!
I know the trophy was the biggest thing about our run last year, but I still remember the pure joy of just knowing there was another game to watch. We played as many games as you could possibly play, you can't beat that! The off season is long enough.

Yeah here is the thing about the NIT.

They schedule games, some fans file in and they play basketball and keep score.

If you win you get to keep playing. That sort of thing appeals to some type of players.

Schools hang banners for NIT appearances. I would hang one for championships. An ode to a one time prestigious tournament. Besides, it would be neat to win the NIT the years they do not make the ncaa's.

Guys need to get used to their roles for next season. If they do that, boat will take them to MSG.
