NIT no Big East teams. Why?

I don't believe the CBI or CIT have yet announced which teams are participating so I suppose there's a chance CCSU gets an invite to one of them.

CBI has announced their field.

Does the CIT even exist any more or did the new Crown tournament not leave enough teams to fill out their field.

While every team likes to play more games I believe there is a cost factor to consider because I think that teams had to pay to play in the CBI and CIT plus incur travel and other related costs.

I believe the winner of the crown gets 300k.

The tournament awards an NIL package to its final four teams to split among players: $50,000 for reaching the semifinals, $100,000 for reaching the final and $300,000 for winning the tournament, Boise State spokesperson Chris Kutz told the Idaho Statesman.

Maybe it’s for the best. Imagine this? The NIT messed up big time!

Awful. They should create a play-in game, not that hard to fix.

Watched a bit of Georgia Tech vs Jax State. Surprised that Jax State won by 18 or so.

At least the Oklahoma State/Wichita State game is competitive. OSU is now up by 10 with 3:40 to go. It was close till they pulled away
