Love it. He’s got a good handle and will be able to take some pressure off County being the only backup option at PG. I do think people should cool down on the Cam comparisons. He’s not that level of player and I think that’s setting an impossibly high bar for him. Still a great addition for the team.

Agreed.

But to be fair, Cam Spencer wasn’t Cam Spencer until Cam Spencer became Cam Spencer.

Agreed. From the little tape Ive seen, he has good bball iq, good movement off the ball/ cuts out of a 5 out, nice form on his shot. But the Cam comparisons should be based on whether they have the true bball intangibles like Cam/Nadav/Bird (exceedingly rare), not whether hes a white guard. Looks to be a Jeff Hornacek type player (heady jump shooter, who can put it on the floor, probably more than Joey)
 
Really liking the way this roster has come together. One more bench piece and then we fill out the roster with practice guys

Love the pickup. Great shooting stats, and should make our guard group - Silas, Braylon, Nils and Junior - very solid and reliable. I have much higher hopes for County than a lot of you. I expect he'll be able to run point backing up Silas comfortably by January.

The 4 spot depth and some practice players are all that remain. Would love to have a project 3rd center that might stay around rather than portal immediately.

Unlike Landrew there is so few videos on him that it is hard to get a good read how good Junior will be.

I think the comparison’s to Spencer are quite a stretch as Spencer was playing in the big 10 the previous season. Joey C seems like a better comp.Spencer averaged 13.5 ppg in Big 10 and made a couple game winners for Rutgers.

Don't really like any player comparisons and think it's setting Nils up for failure to compare him to Cam, but it is worth noting he played in the Big 12 the 2 years prior to his junior year. Albeit it with subpar results

Agreed. Cam Spencer was a special kid. He was a straight up BEAST. Uber competitive. Never quit. Let's see this kid play before we anoint him Cam Spencer Jr. Great pick up though!
