I didn't want to start a new thread for this but the other threads on him aren't open. Chose the Huskies on the other coast. Sounds like all his other finalists didn't work out so he went in a different direction. And quickly. As others have said before, something was amiss with his recruitment.

A 6-foot-10 power forward at Napa (Calif.) Prolific Prep, Bundalo had narrowed his finalists down to Connecticut, North Carolina, Michigan State and Ohio State during the fall. After visits to all of them, no commitment materialized and the expectation was that he would be rebooting his recruitment and sorting his options out through the winter. Instead, he's on the way to Seattle even though he's yet to visit the Huskies.

Hasn't even visited Washington? Okay then. Not abnormal in the spring but a little weird now.

Did he realize it's not Dan Hurley's Huskies?

No crystal ball, but I just have a feeling he'll turn out to be a heck of a player. Not sure where the red flags were, but there had to be some.

Once Reibe committed the staff moved on...
Correct. That was pretty clear. What was interesting is when he said he was reopening his recruitment and dropping all 4 finalists. That's when the red flags were raised.

I think UCONN made a mistake here. One look at our current big man situation tells you you can't have too much big man TALENT.
Sorry to say but Singare ain't done or kely gonna do anything. Could have always used a top 30 skilled 6'10 player.

There were.

As for needing another 5, don’t need a stringy big. Just grab a big with some girth in the portal. Bigs mature at such slow rates (or not at all) I think you’re better off seeing who develops elsewhere. Or tap the international circuit ala AZ. Also have to be smart about how you reserve your spots for right blend of frosh and transfers.

Yes of course but another skilled big would be great since Singaire likely isn't doing anything.
Yes, but these kids are humans who want to play, and we already have Stewart/Abraham at the 4 and Reed/Reibe at the 5. There's very few minutes at that spot for Bundalo even without Singare
