2025 Recruiting: Niko Bundalo commits to Washington

Am I confusing Bundalo with someone else, because I thought there were NIL concerns when his recruiting went sideways? There was nothing in the 247 article about his NIL $ at Washington.

Very weird recruitment - sounds like he never visited UW, not sure they were even on his original list. Word was UW paid the BYU transfer big bucks so it sounds like they have NIL. A UNC who is short on bigs and doesn’t have any in this class, passed after being on his final list. OSU and MSU passed on lesser rated players at same position the couple weeks prior to his assumed announcement. Some chirping out there around character concerns.

Good luck to him - always fun to follow a kid you were in the mix on to see how they do elsewhere.

Not sure I wanted him as much as I was intrigued at what was going on with him.

Of all the recruits I followed, Meleek Thomas and Bundalo were the ones that impressed me the most followed by Reibe and Acaden Lewis. Glad we got one of the four.

you have to assume 4 schools met with him, then took other options for a reason. It’s not lack of talent.
