I wonder if the Uconn coaches at this period of Uconn's development would consider a player like Jessica Moore - someone they recruited with the specific plan of a redshirt year. Of course it takes two to tango, but Uconn was still an emerging power at that point and I think had not narrowed their field of recruits to the degree they have now. A player like Fee Aiyeotan would seem like a player that experience wise might not be ready for Uconn yet but might develop if she were willing to take a year of practice.

UC that sounds like a great plan (redshirt year for Fee) but Fee may become a necessity rather than a luxury. With Boykin's departure we are going to be thin in the post next year especially if Morgan leaves. We would have Natalie & Kayla as only true post players and Gabby and Napheesa pretending to be posts.
