And of course, there's a clickbait article from essentiallysports about her "ending ties" to Nike & Paige, but I'm not gonna post it here, as it's trash.

"Mühl, drafted 14th overall by the Seattle Storm in the 2024 WNBA Draft, made an instant impact as a rookie before suffering an ACL tear that sidelined her season."

This is what passes for journalism nowadays. Nika made no impact whatsoever (she barely played, and scored two points), and the ACL tear happened overseas in October, long after the WNBA season ended. Hopefully she will become a WBNA star in the near future, but I don't know how long ACL tears take to rehabilitate, so she may not play in 2025 either.

Nika made an impact on the team during practice and games. Not so much on the court but by her energy and support.
I'm really glad she chose Under Armour over Nike. Under Armour is much more credible. I wish UCONN would go with Under Armour.

I'm thrilled to see Nika getting so much marketing exposure. The stuff for Mazda is very mainstream, well done and a great reference for her.

Surprisingly, last year she was a top 10 seller of jerseys among ncaaW players and she rode her play at UConn, defense vs Clark, and riding shotgun with Paige&Azzi on social media to great popularity among WNBA rookies. It's very cool to see this rewarded with bigtime sponsors.

I wish her speedy recovery, and hope she gets plenty of future playing time in both Europe and W!

How so?

I'm just curious. I have no bias for or against either company, nor do I own any of their products.

Nike has been known to use child/forced labor. Under Armour is against that practice.

Thanks for the clarification.
