I saw this video yesterday. Nika looks fantastic. Her play is so confident. Her offense seems almost exponentially more aggressive. In other words, she looks like a UConn product. No wonder WNBA coaches want Geno's alums.

And is that Dorka with her, #17?

Nika is injured again. I'd been looking and looking trying to find out what's happened to her -- I saw the match between Croatia and Greece in mid-late November, in which she played very well, but went down with what appeared to be a not-too-bad ankle injury. Now she's not even listed on the Sopron roster. I did find a blurb here, which makes it look like she should be ready by now or soon.

I'm in the same boat, looking for information.

She was playing great in that game for Croatia against Greece on 11/12/2025, a 76-73 win, with 21 points (including 4 of 5 from three) and 7 assists, but went down late in the game with an ankle injury. It was her first game for the Croatian National team. She had played 12 games for Sopron, some in the Hungarian league, some in the Euroleague. As you note, she is not listed on the roster on the Sopron webpage, so I am inferring she is done for the season with Sopron. She should have been back by now if the original assessment was correct.

The Croatian National team plays again on March 11 and I am hoping she plays with them.

From her social media presence, it appears that she is home in Croatia.

I think that Seattle still has her rights, she was suspended due to injury last season, but things are obviously in flux for 2026 with the WNBA.

I fear that the injury was worse than originally thought but there is no indication that she needed surgery for it.

Wishing her the best.

March 11 would be almost three months healing -- hopefully long enough.

Looks like Sopron isn't playing as well without Nika. Not shocking to me.
