I am so grateful for the 4 years she spent at UConn. Selfishly I wish she could stay one more year, but she has given us so much and I respect her decision to move on. She's one of my all time favorite UConn players and I'm going to enjoy watching her play this weekend and in the Big Dance. Whatever happens, thank you Nika!!!!

I am soooooo amazed at how great Nika has become as a UConn Huskie. I still remember during her freshman season when she was pulled from the game, had a serious "conversation" with Coach and went to her seat and was in tears. IMO, she had two choices to make at that exact moment.
I think there are many here that are so happy that she made the correct choice!!!

PS -- That must be the coolest end-of-collegiate-career announcement ever! From that, and the videos she's appeared in over these years, Nika seems to have an instinct of how to convey a message in still picture or video format. She may want to consider a career in filmmaking after pro basketball!
