It’s really not. I think it’s just Nika fans being defensive. Yes we are better when she’s in, but acting like what little she was able to do proves how good she was playing is false. The only reason this thread probably exists is because she was getting a lot of heat in the game chat and post game. She was fine is the real truth, but limited in playing time. She still needs the players around her to do what they do best and they didn’t. We can’t know how much better we would have been if she played 30+ minutes because she wasn’t out there, and ultimately that’s on her. I don’t think people need to try to spin the game in some way that we lost cuz Nika fouled out or defend her performance just because of her plus/minus. She obviously wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t a good night either. She hustled, played defense, and somehow grabbed more rebounds than most everyone else on the team(which is sad). Sometimes that’s just not enough.Even in this thread, in the face of empirical evidence, there is still talk of Nika having a "bad" game...
It's hard to understand discussion that refuses to accept conclusive, factual evidence.
Yes Nika was absent with regard scoring...she had her hands full on the other end...That's not what lost us the game...+13 is a very big, decisive, and illuminating number.
