i don't think it's that sudden. this is their first top 10 class under white but the program has been consistently getting top 20 classes for the last decade (median class of 18/19!) theyre just a top 15-20 bball program in general. it's not like white has gotten off to a bad start by winning a game in the tourney 3 years in a row and never having fewer than 20 wins in a season. sounds pretty good to me.

A team that consistently gets top 20 classes is a top 5-10 team in talent. (Most schools getting top 20 classes will be in there 10-50% of the time. Only a few elite schools are top 20 every year.)

This suggests Florida has really under-performed their talent level.

Oh I completely agree, I’m still going to be an optimist and till it doesn’t happen and then I’ll be a pessimist. It’s a vicious cycle.

I agree, recruiting is dirty like that. Guarantee that’s exactly what the Cuse assistants will be saying and worse.

It's not like he was sick and with a terminal disease. He just got back surgery to relieve pain. This shouldn't be a reoccurring problem. Sure are some overreacting fans out there.

Lane is planning an OV with us right after he visits Texas this next week. We are his last OV before he commits on October 8th. Down to UConn, Miami, Florida, and Texas. Providence is technically in his top 5 but that's as a courtesy for being on him from the beginning.
