I know that he was a finalist for the Walter Camp High School Player of the Year for 2011. He and Casey Cochran were beaten out by Arkeel Newsome.

Comes from a very successful and winning high school program at Hand of Madison. And I'm assuming he was a teammate of Matt Walsh as well. Those two know winning culture and what it takes to win.
