I only quote your post as I somewhat agree. $35 million can make anyone not have regrets. This especially as you have him leaving some place (UFC) that sounds like a fried chicken school.
Not sure king is the right word but you make a
great point of what his legacy could have been had he stayed. Down the road he could have been the coach that took a conference to a new level. Right now The AAC and coaches are just like our program, building and trying to keep top players home.
What we can hope for as fans now is he keeps his roots in mind and schedules an AAC team on his out of conference schedule every year. Strength of schedule is the only thing that kept him from not getting a chance to hoist a NC trophy. Let's hope he remembers!
