So now he's run off 2 highly touted recruits that never were given a chance to see the floor. All while giving undeserved minutes to upper-classmen in exchange for the 2nd consecutive 1st round NCAA flameout. And in the interest of building culture? Well guess what? Now he's gonna have to fill his team with a bunch of transfers or face next season with his son as our #1 option at point guard. Well done Dan Hurley. Can't wait to see what you have in store next.

Complain about results if you want, but this obsession with mocking culture is so odd. Every coach in every sport talks about culture. If we had brought in 6 transfers last year he’d be talking about culture. If you read to much into it that’s a you problem

Easy now. Hurley played the season to get as many W's as he could. Which he did in the regular season, just not in the tourney. If they didn't lay a big fat egg against Teddy Allen it would've been a different story. They just weren't good enough / gelled enough to get all the pups time early this season. Casualties of the new basketball frontier.

Get it all out, sweetie, then we'll get you some ice cream.

Glad you're all fat and happy with these developments. We've got kids leaving before they even see the floor now. Cool, no problem. Nothing to see here. And now the guy who said he won't build the program through transfers has no choice but to build the program through transfers.

Awesome.

When you post this stuff do you ever stop to think that you’re just some dimwit, meathead salesman with such a colossal inattention to detail that you accidentally include work emails with your posts?

Just kidding obviously. That would require self awareness.

Ok genius. Why don’t you go ahead and spin this for us all positively.

That's fine, better being alone than being a dick. It takes balls to be alone, its a lack of balls to be a dick. Welcome to the latter!
When someone wipes their dick all over this board with bad takes, they deserve to be called out. These types of threads and the Ollie crew on this board are the worst of us. I’ll gladly take the heat for calling them out. They suck.

I never get to excited about a recruits rating coming out of high school. Ratings are worthless. See Ajou Ajou Deng. There is a big difference between high school / AAU basketball and college basketball.

They feel as if any misstep by Hurley somehow vindicates KO. Weird breed for sure.
That is definitely not me. I couldn’t care less about Ollie. Not sure how anyone could possibly jump to that conclusion.

cant pass judgment until the roster is set for next season. the way i'm looking at it for now is that 5 of the bottom 6 players on the team are transferring.

this happens at kentucky every year. people were saying hurley was too loyal, well be careful what you wish for. if we get newton, ramey, castle, and two depth pieces the offseason will have been a huge success in my book and everyone can eat crow.

it's just poor logic overall. are we where we want to be? no. but we're better off than where we were.

at least until today. now we get to see. but it's still not the mess that it was. I'm on record saying I don't think Hurley is the guy, but not enough has gone wrong yet for me to be definitive on that and I figured he'd get at least a couple more years given the circumstances.
