At a first glance, NG is #2 (while taking ten more attempts than the #1), SN is tied for 19th

The next top 25 team with a player on this list in San Diego State(AP 24) with Matt Shringley tied for 27th at 55.6%
After that its Oregon(AP 11) with Jason Calliste tied for 35th at 54.5%
Then Zags (AP 16) have Gary Bell Jr, 38th at 54.2%, and the last on the list is Rodney Hood from the "team who must not be named" at 53.6%


Thought
The fact that in the entire NCAA, only 6 of the best shooters are in the AP Top25 is an absolute shocker to me. The fact that UConn has 2 of them is even better.I understand that lower teams usually have to rely on the scoring of one or two players more than the rest of their team, but NG may be our 4th option and is shooting this well.

Pretty crazy how efficient this team is considering no offensive presence in the paint (49.1% and 36th in the nation), or defensive presence for that matter.

He was at 84.6% after 3 games. He's plummeted all the way down to 66.7%. That counts as cooling off, right?

does anyone have a breakdown of NG's 1st half versus 2nd half shooting? I find it so bizarre how he seems to take zero shots in the 2nd halves.
