Belive that's the same thing that Greg Oden underwent. Also Tracy McGrady. Clowney just had it too. Looked it up and haven't really found any success stories. Hopefully he becomes one.

Well I can rest easy that my Skins are doing more homework on draft prospects than I am.

Patriots did very well with their two second round picks, methinks. Hit one of their biggest needs right (CB) on and picked up another 2 picks, making out in hitting another need right on (OL). Ever since Kraft brought in Belichick, management has been surreal.

Patriots picked a QB projected as a 6th rounder at 91? They couldn't pick a RB? Now I know what it's like to be a Jets fan.

Todd McShay stated Brissett is a "junior Big Ben", whatever that means. Time shall tells what happens at the QB position. Doesn't sound too good for Garoppolo.

I actually think Hackenberg can be pretty solid. This kid was projected as the possible number 1 overall pick when O'Brian was there. Then Franklin came in, the O-Line completely dissolved and Hackenberg was under the same amount of pressure we're used to seeing UCONN QBs under.

Considering their only options are currently Bryce Petty and Geno Smith, I think the pick is a solid one. I'm not a Jets fan either but I liked and understood the pick.

They've made massive improvements in the technique recently. Taking Clowney as an example, he came back quickly and from how he looks on the field, he really didn't lose any explosiveness. It used to be an absolute death blow to a career though.

This is from a year ago... same correlation. Nearly 90 percent of NFL Draft picks were multi-sport athletes in high school

Correlation and not causation IMO. The fact that they played multiple sports isn't why they made it to the NFL. It's that they're NFL-caliber athletes who understandably played multiple aborts because of that.

Of the 96 true underclassmen who entered #NFLDraft, 30 (or 31%) were not selected. The leadership of #CFB and #NFL must solve this issue.

Not sure if the NFL (or NBA for that mater) does this but it would be great to give the underclassmen a basic idea whether they MIGHT get the call. There has been between 253 and 256 draft picks annually over the past 10 years. They'd have to give the kids an average ranking based on 5-10 different lists but just tell each prospective early entrant if they're in the top 250 or outside of the top 250 before the deadline to withdraw their name. Not getting drafted if not the end of the world, but unless you hate college, your coach etc there is very little logic in leaving early.

I think the system is fine. Let's be honest, some kids just don't want to be in college.
