A commit so nice its posted twice.

BTW what happened to the recruiting is weak this year crowd? Our slots for next year are, by everyone's best guess at least halfway filled and its only July, and we already have the best QB and RB in the state.

Doubt it (but anything is possible w/ a 17- 18 y/o) but he wants to play @ UConn in front of family and friends. Speed and power fits in any system.

As has been discussed in the other thread, he has no other offers/options because real college football programs do not value him as a significant recruit

Did he run over you or beat your high school team along the way?

It must take incredible courage, fortitude and a strong ethical backbone to attack a minor from behind your computer. All the while knowing what you accomplished in your own life dwarfs what he has done so far in his.

I am originally from Derby and even I would not route against the kids outside of 1 game a year. I wish him luck and welcome to UConn. Hopefully he will have a great new coaching staff that can help him thrive.

Wasn’t some guy named Donald Brown from NJ not that highly rated?

No beef. The question was if he is going to leave. He cant go anywhere because nobody else has offered him a scholarship to play football for them. Just relaying some public information that is available on all of the recruiting sites.

He's a BC troll that wants to get everyone going. The point is that everyone on this board is ecstatic to have Arkeel committed. We have the best Rb in the state coming to Storrs.

you do realize that the recruiting sites are usually VERY behind when it comes to offers. It's actually a joke sometimes.

Newsome had an offer from Syracuse so you're wrong there chief. He also had verbal offers from other BCS schools this summer but kept quiet becuase he was only interested in UConn.
