I have watched Newsome for 4 years. I know what he can do. Think the other running backs are very very talented. But, big BUT, cannot do anything without a decent offensive line. If "it's the economy stupid" resonated a few years ago,
"it's the offensive line stupid!" should be resonating right now. Can't run with no blocking, can't pass with no blocking, can't win with no blocking! Root cause for failure so far this season, no blocking.

I think the blocking thing is the reason Newsome is not getting more plays. Blocking involves everyone. WR's need to block down field on run plays. RB's need to help out with pass protection. Max is by far the strongest blocking RB in pass protection. Newsome has gotten burned several times this year in pass protection.

Yes he has been burned, but not anywhere near as much as that OL has. Yes bring on Butchie!!!! Get these kids running! Pass blocking will come.
