I've notice in the BY LINE--the reporters are called; CONTACT Reporters.
I kept reading that as CONTRACT--that makes sense--
Both Doyle and John A are listed that way---it new to me. What does that mean. Do they work for the Courant or are they independent contractors?? Does anyone know???

Thanks--in previous versions of the Courant--and I don't think I've seen it in a year--they gave the email address in that spot. I knew the Courant , like other Conn. papers made sports writer--contractors. Never thought of clicking on it. Thanks..
