Interesting article on Whitmer and trying to cut down on interceptions. If we could make a few less mistakes along the way, it would really help with momentum. Pasqualoni pointed out that forcing teams to get 70 yards to score on our Defense would be huge. Whitmer has looked good overall for a first year player and another year of maturity and better decision-making has to help.
He had 10 INT's in the first half of the year and only 6 in the second half, though 4 were in the Rutgers game. A more experience O-line will probably help, though Whitmer has to be smarter and even if there's no blocking, it's better to take the sack than make a dangerous throw.
