News about Ossining's eighth grader Andra Espinoza- Hunter

Some of you have shown an interest in Ossining eighth grader Andra Espinoza-Hunter (great 3pt shot, plays beyond her years) as someone Geno might want to keep an eye on, down the road. She played on Ossining’s high school varsity basketball team this past season, alongside Saniya, UConn’s lone 2013 recruit.

Andra has decided to transfer to Blair Academy, in New Jersey, and will now be playing alongside one of UConn’s 2014 verbal commitments, Sadie Edwards……………….it’s a small world!

I was stunned by the quality of Andra's play as an 8th grader. If she continues her current trajectory, she could be an all-time great. I'm sure Geno noticed her when scouting Chong and I seem to recall Andra was at a UConn game with Saniya. Hopefully she enjoyed herself in Storrs.

I don't know but I have a 5'9" 11 year old 5th grade girl at church. Size 13 shoes. Her dad is 6'8" and played Div. 3 ball.

I have it on good authority that her shoe size is a bit larger than the length of her elbow to her wrist. How about the height of her maternal grandfather?
