Herbst she says that UConn supports all the measures, however" students who have enjoyed academic success should not suffer because of short comings of individuals who played in prior seasons."

This is exactly the argument given by posters on this board as to why it would be unfair to penalize students in good standing. She goes on to say that the NCAA is addressing this issue, and will do the "fair" thing. As usual, she's spot on!
