looks good, I read that over the last half of the season he averaged 26.7ppg, alot of high majors involved

Coast 2 Coast Hoops @Coast2CoastHoop
The main schools involved with 2014 New Mexico JUCO point guard Jeff Newberry are WVU, LSU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, UConn & USC.

That's a decent enough list to convince me this guy can play. He'll be a solid addition to the PG mix for 2014.

That list makes me think this kid would be a good cornerback. Point guard? I trust Ollie.

Like the kid, what he writes, his game and his attitude about life in general as well as the process. Would love him a Storrs quite honestly!
Me too! Question is what does @BLUEDOGHOUSE and @huskyforlife think?

Great video. Interested to read more about him and his attitude.

Plays at a very controlled pace even when going fast. Very confident player.

If we're offering kids who are considering Texas A&M, LSU, and USC we're in trouble. We should save the scholarship for 2014. Lots of good bigs in that class.

That is a ridiculous way to look at this. Daniel Hamilton chose us over USC and UTEP. LSU signed two top-30 players in 2013. Oklahoma State recruits at a very high level. USC just got Jordan McLaughlin......

Not sure if Diamond Deshields is a sister by blood, but would be interesting if she was ... her father being Delino Deshields ..

You just never know. Remember a few years back a kid named Marcus Thorton? Played junior college ball. UConn recruited him and offered him and he chose LSU. Was SEC Player of the Year his senior season (2nd year at LSU) and is now in the NBA.

You have to trust the coaching staff is doing the right thing. Probabilities would say he's not going to help much but we just don't know.

+1
Emeka Okafor's offers were UConn, Vanderbilt, Rice and Arkansas.

We went against Georgia for Jeremy Lamb, and while I just looked that up, I noticed that Lamb had a composite ranking of 93, and that ESPN didn't rank him in the top 100 at all. In fact, ESPN had him at #43 among shooting guards! Yes, there were 43 better SGs in the 2011 class.Look below (By the way, Victor Oladipo was ranked #54 SG).
