Liberty aren't winning games, but they've been pesky. Sky leading 54-51 early in Q3. Gabby has been productive, 10 pts/6 boards. The Lib's UConn alums are struggling again, combined 0-7 from the floor and 2 points.

At least Kiah Stokes seems to not have the UConn- Lib curse. 12 pts (2-5 from 3). Liberty leading actually 73-71 with 1 minute left in Q3. 3pt shooting and assists way up.

My bad, I overlooked her. I was looking at Nurse and Walker.


Now 83-78 Lib w/ 7 1/2 minutes to go.

Early in Q3, there was a shoot-out between Kiah Stokes and Gabby Williams. Really!!! Both are in double-figures and have made multiple treys.

This is the best, by far, that I've seen NY on offense. They are up 91-87 with 4:00 to go.
 
Looks like NY's bench is really productive today. 14 for Willoughby, 10 for Kea, 9 for Jones, 8 for Shook. This might actually happen. Looks like Chicago can't get a stop. Lib shooting 54% from the floor.
 
Kaleeah Cooper being treated for ankle but back in. Quigley heating up with career high. :eek:

Well this trumps Minnesota losing to Atlanta. Suddenly everybody is looking kinda vulnerable, except maybe Las Vegas. So that means they are due to lose a game.
 
Stokes made a key hoop down the stretch after NYL turned the ball over on consecutive possessions. Kiah finished with 14 points.

If Dolson is within 5 feet, she will be called but to be fair, it was a foul but hard to avoid. It was on Clarendons follow through and she was too close to get a charge.
 
When Zahui is hot, the Liberty can be tough.

She had a 37 pt game in a road win against the Sparks last season.
 
If Indianapolis can beat Seattle and Atlanta can beat Minnesota, I guess New York can beat Chicago!

Her post game interview with Holly was very emotional. She was so spent and could not find the energy to smile. Holly asked what she was feeling. Relief. Just so hard to lose all the time after working so hard.

They cut over to her several times during the broadcast and her body language was pretty negative. I dunno whether there's a nagging injury or a falling out with a coach, but she looked pretty disengaged to me.
 
I wonder what it will take for an official to call, on a regular basis, a moving screen in the WNBA. Maybe the officials are as tired as the players.
